The sculpture is in a light color, possibly plaster or a similar material, and is set against a light background within an arched alcove. The sculpture features a central, life-sized figure of a man in a military-style uniform, likely intended to represent a political or historical figure. To either side of him are numerous figures of people, appearing to be a crowd, including adults and children, some holding flowers. Above the central figure is a profile of another man. The scene is bordered by an ornate decorative edging along the top of the arch. In front of the sculpture is a barrier consisting of black posts connected by garlands or ropes, which are also black and decorative. There are red flowers placed near the base of the central figure. The floor is tiled with dark-colored stone. The lighting is provided by fluorescent lamps on the ceiling.
