The statue is set against a backdrop of a blue sky dotted with scattered white clouds. Behind the statue, a low, rough-hewn stone wall forms the base of the monument. To the right of the statue, a paved walkway leads away from the sandy area. Several individuals are visible on this walkway, some walking and others standing near small white structures, one of which appears to have text on it. The environment suggests a coastal or elevated park setting. This monument is the Peter the Great Monument located in Baltiysk, Russia, marking the westernmost point of the country.
