The image depicts a panoramic view of the Rosa Khutor resort in Estosadok, Russia. The scene is bisected horizontally by the Mzymta River in the foreground and mid-ground, and a series of buildings on the river's right bank backed by a steep, tree-covered mountain slope in the background. The Mzymta River, occupying the lower half of the frame, flows from right to left with light turquoise, turbulent water. Numerous grey and light-colored rocks and boulders are visible within the riverbed, both submerged and exposed, creating white rapids. A large, light grey, somewhat rectangular boulder is centrally located in the river. The immediate left riverbank in the foreground consists of dry, rocky ground interspersed with patches of dead, brownish-beige scrub and bare earth. Separating the river from the resort structures on the right bank is a dark grey retaining wall topped with a dark metal railing. Behind this railing is a paved promenade where approximately 20-30 individuals are present. These individuals are casually dressed, seen walking, standing, and congregating in front of the various retail establishments. The resort buildings on the right bank exhibit a consistent chalet-style architecture, characterized by white facades with dark brown or black half-timbered detailing and dark grey sloped roofs. Prominent red "BOSCO" logos are visible on several storefronts. Other visible signs include "ABIS CENTRAL" and a blue sign resembling "Sportmaster." On the far right, a distinct multi-story building with a crenelated tower design houses the "Стрела Strela" (Strela) gondola station, from which a gondola cable extends upwards. The background is dominated by a steep mountain slope covered with deciduous trees. These trees are bare, indicating late winter or early spring, with only their grey-brown branches visible against an overcast or hazy sky. Patches of lighter-toned ground are visible among the trees. The overall lighting suggests daytime.
