This is a close-up, overhead photograph of a mosaic artwork. The mosaic is composed of small, square tesserae in shades of blue, green, brown, orange, and cream. The artwork depicts abstract floral or botanical forms, characterized by segmented blue petals radiating outwards from a central point. Some of the forms are interspersed with areas of solid green and brown tesserae, possibly representing leaves or earthy elements. Bright orange tesserae appear in scattered areas, adding pops of color. The background is a uniform cream color with subtle variations in tone. The mosaic appears to be a wall or floor covering. The mosaic is located on the exterior wall of the L'Espace Decoratif of the Madoura pottery complex in Vallauris, France. This complex was famously associated with Pablo Picasso and his ceramic work.
