The image depicts a vibrant mural painted on a tall, tapering, rectangular structure, resembling a chimney or vent stack, attached to the side of a light-colored building under an overcast sky. The mural is located in Encinitas, California, on the side of a building at 1665 Coast Blvd, adjacent to Pannikin Coffee & Tea and La Paloma Theatre. At the apex of the painted structure, a small, dark, silhouetted sculpture of a human-like figure with a star on its head stands on the narrow top. Below this, the mural itself portrays the Virgin of Guadalupe, identifiable by her traditional red robe, green mantle adorned with stars, and a golden mandorla of light, standing with hands clasped in prayer. She is depicted balancing on a white surfboard decorated with red and yellow flowers, riding a large blue wave. Below the wave, the ocean is rendered with light rays piercing the surface, illuminating underwater elements. Towards the bottom of the mural, three dolphins swim through the blue water, with dark green aquatic plants visible beneath them. A faint signature "RA COSMOS" is visible at the lower left of the mural. The building to which the structure is attached features a light gray, possibly cinder-block textured, exterior wall. Two windows are visible: one on the left with a dark gray frame and horizontal blinds, topped by a dark gray awning-like projection; another on the right with a similar frame and blinds. The roof of the building is dark gray shingle. Dark rain gutters run along the roofline. Several external fixtures are present on the wall, including a black light fixture and a light gray security camera or sensor mounted near the top of the wall, and a gray utility box positioned on the lower right section of the wall.
