A crowd of spectators is gathered, some standing and some sitting in portable chairs, behind a barrier that separates them from the derby arena. In the arena, several dilapidated cars, some painted with colorful designs, are positioned. Some of the cars appear to be involved in a collision or are waiting for the event to start.
