The central motif depicts the Deposition of Christ, with Jesus' body lying on a green and gold-embroidered shroud. Above him, a large cross is rendered in gold thread. Two winged figures, presumably angels, are depicted flanking the cross. The textile is edged with a border of embroidered floral patterns and has a fringe of gold threads along the bottom. A small information plaque with text in Cyrillic and English is attached to the glass display case in front of the textile. The artifact is housed in a wooden display case with a glass front, secured with a metal latch.
