In Rostov-on-Don, Russia, this image captures a patch of overgrown ground next to a building
In Rostov-on-Don, Russia, this image captures a patch of overgrown ground next to a building. Dominating the foreground is a large, lush hosta plant with numerous green leaves, many of which show signs of being eaten, with irregular holes. To the left of the hosta, the long, pointed leaves of another plant are visible. The background reveals a cluttered scene with construction debris. A large, gray door is partially visible on the left, leading to the building. Piles of white bags, possibly containing construction materials, are stacked behind the hosta. Scattered among these are broken pieces of wood, including a large, hollowed-out log lying on the ground. Further back, a dense pile of cut evergreen branches and twigs is evident. The ground is covered in dark soil, with scattered dry leaves and small weeds. The overall impression is one of neglect and disarray, with the hosta plant being the primary living element in the immediate vicinity.
