This image captures a section of a building corner and an adjacent alleyway in Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom
Short TermThis image captures a section of a building corner and an adjacent alleyway in Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom. The central focus is a stencil artwork on the building's facade. The artwork depicts a young boy, rendered in black and white, standing at the base of the cream-colored brick wall. He wears striped trousers and a dark top with a white mark on the chest. His left hand holds a paint pot, and his right arm is raised, reaching upwards. Floating above him are two balloons connected by thin grey strings: one is a vibrant red heart, and the other is a grey stencil of the British Pound Sterling symbol (£). The building itself is painted a light beige/cream, with visible brick lines beneath. The paint shows signs of wear and peeling, particularly at the lower edge where some moss is present. To the right of the artwork, a large window with a dark, ornate frame is visible. Inside the window, numerous thin, vertical white lines or strings hang, possibly forming a curtain or decorative screen. The lower part of the building wall and the window frame are painted a darker grey/black. To the left of the building corner, a wet, dark grey asphalt alleyway extends into the distance, curving to the left. A low, light-colored concrete wall runs along the left side of the alley. In the background, various buildings are visible, including one with a yellow awning and another red-bricked structure, under an overcast, light grey sky. Overhead power lines traverse the sky. The wet appearance of the pavement indicates recent rain.
