Angels are depicted in the top left. The scene features armed men standing and kneeling around a pale woman lying on a stone surface, apparently a martyr in the process of being slain. Two lit candles flank the altarpiece on the right. To the left of the altarpiece is a decorative maroon banner with a gold capital letter "A." The entire scene is framed by ornate, variegated marble columns.
