MomentThis is a low-angle, eye-level, outdoor shot of a ruined castle tower in Mogadouro, Portugal. The tower, constructed of irregularly shaped, brown and tan stones, rises high in the frame. The top of the tower has a crenellated parapet. A vertical slit window is visible near the top of the tower. Adjacent to the tower, a lower section of the castle ruins, also constructed of similar stones, has areas of exposed brick and whitewashed sections. There is a recessed arched opening with a stone border in the tower. Steps lead up to this opening, with a gray metal railing running alongside them. At the base of the ruins is a low, arched stone entrance. Green vegetation is visible through this entrance. The ground in the foreground is covered with grass and a few small plants. The sky is overcast and a bright white.
