In Tasikmalaya, Indonesia, a group of ten individuals, appearing to be adult women, are posing for a photograph in front of a partially painted brick wall
Short TermIn Tasikmalaya, Indonesia, a group of ten individuals, appearing to be adult women, are posing for a photograph in front of a partially painted brick wall. The wall is adorned with what seems to be spray-painted graffiti in black and pink. The lower portion of the wall is white, creating a striped effect with the pink upper section. The individuals are dressed in either maroon or white religious attire, consisting of long dresses and headscarves, some complemented by white caps. Seven of them are holding drumsticks and appear to be part of a drumming group. Several drums, wrapped in red and white fabric, are visible, some hanging from the participants' shoulders. Three individuals in the front row are seated, with two of them holding small, red and white striped objects that resemble pinwheels. One seated individual in white is holding a green bottle. The individuals are wearing white gloves and some are raising their fists, suggesting a celebratory or determined stance. The ground beneath them is a dirt and gravel surface. The setting appears to be outdoors, possibly in a semi-urban or rural area, given the rough ground and unfinished wall.
