In the Municipal Unit of Anthidon, Greece, an archeological display features two stone artifacts against a rough, tan stone wall
In the Municipal Unit of Anthidon, Greece, an archeological display features two stone artifacts against a rough, tan stone wall. The artifact on the left is a tall, rectangular stone pillar, standing upright. Its surface is divided into rectangular panels, each containing intricate carvings of scrolling patterns and stylized plant-like motifs. The artifact on the right is a smaller, squarish stone block, positioned horizontally. It is adorned with a central circular design resembling a flower or starburst, surrounded by swirling, curvilinear patterns. This artifact is held in place by two light-colored, angled brackets. The floor in front of the artifacts appears to be tiled in a reddish-brown color. The lighting suggests an indoor environment, possibly a museum or exhibition space.
