Above and to the left of the bust, the letter "M" is visible, also appearing to be made of metal. The pedestal has a black plaque with text inscribed in silver lettering. The text on the plaque reads: "ЛАУХИН АЛЕКСАНДР КИРИЛЛОВИЧ" and below that, "ГЕРОЙ СОВЕТСКОГО СОЮЗА". This translates to "LAUKHIN ALEXANDER Kirillovich" and "HERO OF THE SOVIET UNION". Green foliage is visible at the base of the pedestal. The sky is visible at the top of the image, with some clouds. Based on the inscription on the plaque, this memorial is dedicated to Alexander Kirillovich Laukhin, a Hero of the Soviet Union. It is located in the village of Takhtamukai, Takhtamukaysky District, Republic of Adygea, Russia, at the monument to Heroes of the Soviet Union.
