Short TermThis is a photograph of the interior of a subway station tunnel in Marseille, France. The tunnel is curved and lined with green tiles on the lower portion of the walls. The ceiling is painted with abstract designs in pink and dark gray, with long fluorescent light fixtures running down the center. The floor is paved with white tiles, with a large red rectangular tile marking in the foreground and a dark gray tiled path down the center of the tunnel. There are rectangular panels of lighter colored tiles on the left and right walls, resembling doorways that do not appear to open. The tunnel recedes into the distance, where the walls appear to be decorated with diagonal brown and white stripes. The lighting is bright and artificial. There are no people visible in the image.
