This is an outdoor, eye-level, wide shot of the Atomium in Brussels, Belgium
MomentThis is an outdoor, eye-level, wide shot of the Atomium in Brussels, Belgium. The Atomium is a building constructed to resemble a unit cell of an elementary iron crystal, magnified 165 billion times. It consists of nine spheres, each 18 meters in diameter, connected by tubes containing escalators and staircases. The spheres are clad in stainless steel and reflect the surrounding environment. In the foreground, a low-rise building with a grey facade and grey window coverings is visible to the left. A red metallic sculpture with six points is positioned in front of the Atomium. A metal staircase with railings leads up to one of the Atomium's spheres. Several people are visible walking and sitting in the area around the base of the Atomium, and some are seated at tables outside a building in the middle ground. Green trees and a bright blue sky are present in the background. A street sign that reads "Atomium" is visible on the right side of the image.
