An exterior, low-angle, full shot captures the Al-Aqsa Mosque's minaret in Jerusalem, Israel, under a partly cloudy blue sky
MomentAn exterior, low-angle, full shot captures the Al-Aqsa Mosque's minaret in Jerusalem, Israel, under a partly cloudy blue sky. The tower is constructed of light-colored stone blocks, with a weathered appearance and some areas showing damage or wear. The minaret is octagonal in shape and tapers slightly as it ascends. The top of the minaret features a balcony with a dark roof supported by green metal railings. There are several windows on the tower, some of which are arched, with metal grates. Decorative stone carvings are visible on the facade, including circular motifs. Small, dark plants or vines are growing in some of the crevices on the side of the tower. In the foreground, a light-colored metal railing runs horizontally across the bottom of the image, partially obscuring the view of the lower part of the minaret. Behind this railing, a stone ledge or platform is visible. The overall impression is of an ancient, well-preserved structure against a clear sky.
