Two monkeys are perched on wooden supports amidst the large, gnarled trunks of a tree, possibly a fig tree, which is a common sight in the botanical gardens or urban parks of Đà Nẵng, Vietnam. The larger monkey, a macaque, sits on a horizontal beam, facing slightly to the left with its forelimbs resting on the wood. Its fur is greyish-brown. To its left and slightly lower, a smaller monkey, a juvenile, clings to a vertical beam, looking upwards and to the left with its left hand on the beam.
