MomentA close-up, overhead shot captures a vibrant, green mossy surface. Two samaras, commonly known as maple keys, lie on the moss. One samara is mostly intact, appearing dried and golden brown, with visible veins running through its wing. The second samara is partially obscured, with its two seed-bearing wings forming a "V" shape, exhibiting shades of green and yellow with brown tips. Numerous small, brown spore capsules are scattered throughout the moss, some standing erect on thin stalks. Thin, pale grey strands, possibly stray fibers or fine roots, are interwoven with the moss. The overall environment appears natural and undisturbed. This scene is located in Sjerogošte, Montenegro.
