A close-up, top-down view depicts a diverse collection of natural rocks and minerals, presumably located in Jesús del Monte, Mexico
MomentA close-up, top-down view depicts a diverse collection of natural rocks and minerals, presumably located in Jesús del Monte, Mexico. The arrangement includes a prominent cluster of purple amethyst crystals with faceted points in the upper left quadrant. Adjacent to it, a reddish-brown, highly porous, vesicular rock with scattered white granular inclusions is visible. Smooth, rounded river stones in varying shades of tan, brown, and yellow, some exhibiting distinct banding and speckled patterns, are dispersed across the center. In the upper right, several grey, irregularly shaped rocks, some with dark mineral coatings or inclusions, are present. Towards the middle and lower right, two reddish-orange, translucent, tumbled stones are seen, along with a dark grey banded rock. The lower portion of the image features lighter-colored, angular rocks, possibly sedimentary, interspersed with other dark, rough-textured stones. The entire collection rests within an unidentifiable light-colored container or surface, filling the frame.
