The adult lemur exhibits grey fur, a distinctive black and white striped tail, and bright yellow eyes. It is actively carrying at least two smaller, juvenile Ring-tailed Lemurs, which are clinging to its back and side. One juvenile's head is clearly visible, looking upwards, while another's head is partially obscured behind it. The immediate ground surrounding the log is covered with dark brown wood chips.
