Behind the buck is another statue of a deer in a grazing position, with its head low to the ground. A third, smaller statue of a fawn in mid-leap is visible to the right of the buck. The statues are set on a grassy area. In the background are trees and what appears to be a street with cars. A wrought iron fence, decorated with golden rosettes, is positioned to the right of the statues.
