The image depicts the Pskov Krom (Kremlin), a historic fortress located in Pskov, Russia. The Krom is situated on a high promontory at the confluence of the Pskov and Velikaya rivers. In the foreground, the Velikaya River flows calmly, reflecting the cloudy sky and the surrounding greenery. The left bank of the river is covered with lush green grass and trees. On the right side of the river, the imposing stone walls of the Krom rise up, with grassy slopes leading to them. Several towers of the Krom are visible, including the distinctive Trinity Cathedral with its golden dome and a white bell tower. Adjacent to it, a darker, conical-topped tower stands. Further along the wall, scaffolding is visible around a structure undergoing renovation, possibly another dome or tower. A paved walkway runs along the base of the Krom walls, parallel to the river. Several individuals are seen walking along this path, some sitting on benches. Ducks are visible in the water near the grassy bank on the left. The sky above is partly cloudy, with a mix of white and grey clouds. The overall scene is one of historical grandeur and tranquil natural beauty.
