The planter itself appears to be made of wood, and is filled with a dense arrangement of foliage and flowers. The dominant plants are a variegated variety of sage with leaves that are green with white and sometimes pinkish edges. Interspersed among the sage are clusters of bright red geraniums and small yellow flowers.
