A taxidermied red deer stands prominently in the foreground of a museum exhibit
BLOCKEDA taxidermied red deer stands prominently in the foreground of a museum exhibit. The deer is facing forward with its head slightly turned to its right, its antlers reaching upwards and outwards. Behind the deer, to the left, is a wall decorated with a large-scale print of a tree trunk with a textured, bark-like appearance. To the right of the deer, a wooden paneled wall features several cut-out circular displays. One display on the upper right shows a taxidermied bird, appearing to be a Eurasian hobby, perched on a branch. Below it, another display shows a taxidermied stoat in a dynamic pose. Text panels are visible behind the cutouts and on the wall behind the deer. The floor is made of polished wooden planks. The lighting suggests an indoor museum environment. This exhibit is located in the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, Netherlands, which is near The Hague.
