The smaller, secondary eyes are positioned on the sides and have a greenish tint. Bristles and hairs surround the eyes, and some extend upwards against a blurred, blue background. The spider's facial area beneath the eyes is brown and textured with hairs and small droplets or shiny particles. The text in the bottom of the image in Cyrillic text states, "PORTRET PAUKA-SKAKUNA," or "PORTRAIT OF A JUMPING SPIDER." The rest of the Cyrillic text in the bottom reads, "Author: Mikhail Gribkov," so this is most likely the author of the image.
