This is a frontal, eye-level, medium shot of a monument dedicated to Dr
Short TermThis is a frontal, eye-level, medium shot of a monument dedicated to Dr. Wincenty Galica in Zakopane, Poland. The monument is composed of a large, rough-hewn granite boulder with a bronze bust of Dr. Galica mounted on a separate, smaller granite pedestal to the left. The bust faces slightly to the viewer's right, with a stern expression. Below the bust on the pedestal is a silver-colored emblem. A bronze plaque is affixed to the large granite boulder to the right of the bust. The plaque contains engraved text in Polish. Above the plaque, the neon sign "DORNER" is visible, illuminated in yellow against the dark facade of a building. The monument is situated on a paved area made of grey square tiles, interspersed with thin lines of grout. To the left of the monument, a small evergreen shrub is planted, and to the right, a portion of a silver car is visible. The background consists of a multi-story building with a facade of alternating bands of brown wood and beige concrete. Numerous windows with white curtains are visible on the building's upper floors. The scene is bathed in sunlight, casting shadows from the monument and a tree onto the pavement. The overall impression is one of a memorial site located in an urban or semi-urban setting.
