A rectangular bronze bas-relief is mounted on a textured yellow brick wall
MomentA rectangular bronze bas-relief is mounted on a textured yellow brick wall. The bas-relief depicts two men in traditional attire, possibly representing historical figures or cultural archetypes. They are positioned on either side of a central architectural element that resembles a gateway or portal, adorned with intricate carvings. Both figures wear conical hats, long tunics, and sashes. They are shown holding objects, one holding a fan-like item and the other a saber. Decorative floral motifs and what appear to be fish are integrated into the lower portions of the relief. Above the figures, celestial elements like circles and stars are depicted within arched frames. The wall is constructed from rectangular yellow bricks, and a darker band runs along the top of the wall, topped by a metal railing and a stone staircase. The ground in front of the wall is paved with rectangular interlocking stones, some of which are covered in moss and small weeds. This bas-relief is located in the city of Maykop, Russia, specifically at the National Museum of the Republic of Adygea.
