The image displays an active excavation site in Asaga Amangwu, Nigeria, dominated by a large, exposed earth cliff
The image displays an active excavation site in Asaga Amangwu, Nigeria, dominated by a large, exposed earth cliff. The cliff face exhibits distinct horizontal stratification, featuring prominent layers of reddish-brown soil interspersed with lighter, whitish to pale yellow soil. The ground in the foreground consists of loose, light-colored earth with several small piles of excavated material near the cliff's base. The sky above is partly cloudy, with a clearer blue area on the left transitioning to a more overcast, lighter sky on the right. One individual, identified as male, is positioned in the lower-left, standing with his back to the camera at the base of the cliff. He wears a light green or teal short-sleeved shirt with the number "55" visible on the back, and dark trousers or shorts. His left arm is bent at the elbow, while his right arm extends downwards. A second, smaller figure is observed high on the upper edge of the cliff, near the center, appearing to be seated or crouching. A single, small tree with green foliage is visible on the top-left edge of the cliff. A slender, dark object, possibly a digging tool, is partially visible protruding from a small mound of earth to the right of the standing individual.
