The image depicts an upward view of a section of a traditional Korean gate structure at night, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The central subject is the gate's multi-tiered, dark-tiled roof, featuring prominently curved eaves. The underside of these eaves and the supporting *gongpo* brackets are elaborately adorned with *dancheong* (traditional Korean decorative painting) displaying geometric and stylized floral patterns, illuminated by artificial lighting with a green hue. Below the decorated roofline, a segment of white, rectangular block-patterned construction is visible, resting upon a substantial base constructed from large, irregular stone blocks. A curved archway, partially visible on the lower left side, indicates a passage through the gate structure. The scene is set against a dark, clear night sky, in which a distinct, nearly full moon is visible in the upper right quadrant. A small, wispy cloud is present beneath the moon. No human subjects, animals, or discernible activities are observed within the frame.
