The monument is a massive stone structure with a tall, slender tower that tapers towards the top. It is adorned with arched windows and a large, dark bronze statue of a lion sitting on a pedestal on its right side. There are Cyrillic inscriptions on the monument, including "ШИПКА" on a band below the lion statue. The monument is surrounded by a metal barricade, and the ground in front of it is paved with stone slabs, some of which appear cracked and uneven. Dry, sparse vegetation covers the ground in the foreground. The sky is a vibrant, clear blue, with scattered white, fluffy clouds. The scene is quiet and appears to be unoccupied by any individuals.
