The text describes the adrenal gland and pituitary gland. The adrenal gland has a cortex divided into zona glomerulosa, zona fasciculata, and zona reticularis. Under high magnification, cells in these zones are composed of small or large cells with capillaries, sponge cytoplasm, or dark nuclei. The medulla contains medullary cells with chromaffin granules and ganglion cells. The pituitary gland's specimen is ellipse-shaped, with a dark stained adenohypophysis and a light stained part.
