The image presents the neoclassical St. Martin's Church in Dornbirn, Austria, viewed from a low angle under a clear blue sky. The church features a prominent portico with six fluted columns, topped by Ionic capitals. Above the columns, a triangular pediment contains a multi-figure mosaic. Below the pediment, the facade behind the columns is adorned with large, colorful murals on either side of a central entrance with dark double doors. A black cross marks the apex of the pediment. A long, red vertical banner hangs between two columns to the left of the main entrance, displaying a portrait of a man and partial white text including "...Lampen" and "unde Frauen entw...". To the right of the church, a tall, adjacent building is entirely covered in metal scaffolding, extending vertically beyond the frame. In the foreground, a light-colored paved square leads to a set of steps ascending to the church entrance. Two individuals in dark clothing stand on the square near the base of these steps, with one person pointing upwards with their right arm. To the far right of the steps, a black information stand, a white public notice or dispenser box, and the front wheel of a bicycle are visible. To the left of the church, a section of an older building with windows and a contrasting light-colored facade, partially obscured by shadow, is visible. The scene is illuminated by natural sunlight, casting soft shadows.
