The nest is constructed from aggregated mud pellets and straw-like fibers, forming a conical structure. It is affixed to a black, cylindrical object, possibly a pipe or conduit, which in turn is mounted to the ceiling. Three young birds, exhibiting dark heads and hints of reddish-brown plumage on their faces, are visible with their heads emerging from the top opening of the nest. The ceiling surface is a pale yellow or beige, characterized by a rough texture, scattered dark specks, and several patches of peeling paint. Directly above the nest, a concentrated mass of dark, granular material, consistent with dried bird excrement and debris, adheres to the ceiling.
