MomentThe image is a certificate of completion, issued to a Private Ivan Romanov of the 96th Reserve Battalion. The certificate states that Romanov successfully completed the course of the training team. The certificate is dated July 4, 1915, and numbered 7865. It is signed by the Battalion Commander, a Colonel, and the Adjutant, a Second Lieutenant with what appears to be a signature of "Bilogin." The certificate was issued by the 96th Infantry Reserve Battalion upon completion of the wartime training team course. The certificate features an image of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra, as well as the Imperial Eagle. The certificate appears old and weathered. There is no mention of Kemul, Russia on the document.
