A circular wooden relief featuring the Triskelion symbol is mounted on a light-colored brick wall
Short TermA circular wooden relief featuring the Triskelion symbol is mounted on a light-colored brick wall. The Triskelion is carved from darker wood, depicting three bent legs joined at the thigh, each extending outwards and bent at the knee, with the feet pointing in different directions. The legs are adorned with carved details resembling segmented armor. The relief is bordered by a rope-like carving that forms the outer edge of the circle. A wooden plank with two screws is horizontally mounted above the relief, also attached to the brick wall. The lighting creates shadows on the wall behind the relief. This artwork is located in Dunkirk, France, specifically within the museum located in the Tour du Dunkerque.
