A monumental sculpture, appearing to be of a woman or goddess, is depicted in a close-up, low-angle shot, embracing a large, reflective globe. The sculpture itself is made of a material with a weathered green patina, suggestive of aged bronze, with areas of turquoise and verdigris. The figure's head is resting on the globe, with eyes partially closed and a serene expression. One arm wraps around the globe, and the other is positioned in front, with a hand visible. The globe is highly polished and metallic, reflecting the surrounding environment. The reflection on the globe reveals a park-like setting with manicured bushes, trees, and a clear sky tinged with the warm hues of sunset. Several individuals are visible in the reflection, appearing as small figures walking and observing the surroundings. The map of Europe and parts of Africa are etched into the surface of the globe. This sculpture, known as "The Birth of a New World" or "The Woman and the Globe," is located in the Solnechny Ostrov (Sunny Island) Park in Krasnodar, Russia. The sculpture was created by Zurab Tsereteli.
