Le Mont-Saint-MichelFrance

This vertical image depicts a pastoral scene of numerous sheep grazing in expansive green fields under a predominantly overcast sky in the vicinity of Le Mont-Saint-Michel, France. In the foreground, tall, vibrant green grass dominates the lower third of the frame. In the lower-left midground, a prominent white-bodied sheep with a black head and black legs stands facing the viewer, distinguished by a yellow identification tag in its left ear and a faint green mark on its back. Across the midground and background, a large flock of other sheep, mostly white with black or dark faces, is scattered, actively grazing with heads typically down. Several of these sheep bear visible yellow identification markings on their backs. The terrain is flat, characterized by varying heights of green grass and some patches of exposed or muddy ground. A distant, dark horizontal line of trees forms the horizon, separating the fields from a wide expanse of grey-blue clouds that fill the upper portion of the sky, indicating diffuse, natural light. No human figures or man-made structures are prominently featured, beyond what might be implied by the managed fields and identified livestock.
