large, ornate monument in the city of Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan. The monument is situated in an open, paved area, possibly a public square or entrance to the city, with a cloudy sky overhead. The main structure consists of a large dark ring, reminiscent of a Ferris wheel or a sundial, with a stylized copper sunburst at its center. Extending from the top of the ring is a large, intricate wireframe sculpture of a stylized object, possibly an animal or a mythical creature. At the base of the monument is a dark, rocky structure inscribed with large, yellow letters spelling "ЕКIБАСТУЗ" (Ekibastuz). In front of this inscription, and to the sides, are several illuminated wireframe sculptures of tulips, some in red and others in yellow and white. These floral sculptures appear to be decorative elements. Two thin, metallic, arching structures with green wire mesh are also present in the foreground, flanking the central inscription.
