The image displays three Soviet-era medals arranged on a deep red, plush fabric
Short TermThe image displays three Soviet-era medals arranged on a deep red, plush fabric. The medals are laid out in a slightly overlapping manner. The medal on the far left is a silver-toned badge with a red rectangular section at the top, inscribed with the Roman numeral "I" in white. Below this is a silver plaque with the Cyrillic abbreviation "ДОСААФ". This badge is suspended by a small loop. To the right of the first medal is a similar badge. The top rectangular section is blue and inscribed with the Roman numeral "II" in white. The silver plaque below also reads "ДОСААФ". This badge is also suspended by a loop and appears to be connected by a thin white string to another object. The third medal, positioned to the right of the first two, is a circular, gold-toned medallion. It features a red five-pointed star in the center, superimposed on what appears to be an airplane propeller. The year "1975" is visible beneath the star. Around the star, text is inscribed in a circular pattern in Cyrillic, which appears to be related to athletic competitions and the USSR. This medal has a gold-toned loop for suspension. The red fabric on which the medals are placed has a rich, velvety texture and is folded, creating shadows and highlights that add depth to the image. The background behind the fabric is a muted blue. There are no people or any environmental context that would suggest a specific location in Novopavlovka, Kyrgyzstan or any other city. The image is a close-up of the medals and the fabric they are resting on.
