This is a nighttime, full-frame, low-angle shot of the Independence Monument in Khan Daun Penh, Cambodia
MomentThis is a nighttime, full-frame, low-angle shot of the Independence Monument in Khan Daun Penh, Cambodia. The monument, a tall, white, stone structure with a tiered, gold-trimmed roof and spire, is centrally located against a dark sky. Two flags are affixed to the monument's facade: one with blue and red stripes and a depiction of Angkor Wat, and another, smaller red flag with a gold emblem. At the base of the monument, in front of the stone tower, are three bronze statues of individuals standing closely together. The statues appear to be a man and two women, with the man on the right holding a rifle. Below the statues is a plaque with text. In the lower left of the frame, the top of a temple with a golden roof is visible, as are trees and lampposts. The scene is illuminated by artificial lights, casting a warm glow on the monument and surrounding structures.
