A white stork is perched in a large, circular nest constructed from branches and twigs atop a concrete utility pole against a clear, deep blue sky in Hadzhidimitrovo, Bulgaria. The stork, facing slightly left, exhibits white plumage with visible black flight feathers and an orange-red beak. The substantial nest rests on a metal platform affixed to the top of the pole, with some loose material hanging from its edges. Below the nest, the grey utility pole is fitted with several white ceramic insulators mounted on rusty metal brackets. Multiple black electrical wires, some twisted, traverse the frame. A dark-colored street light fixture is partially visible at the base of the pole.
