The central subject is a single, immature, ovoid fruit, light greenish-pink and covered in fine trichomes (fuzz), attached to a slender stem in the mid-right. The branch is laden with elongated, lanceolate green leaves. Multiple leaves, particularly in the mid-left and upper right, display distinct reddish-pink, puckered, and blistered deformities, characteristic of *Taphrina deformans* (peach leaf curl). Some leaves also show signs of chlorosis, exhibiting a yellowish hue. A single withered floral remnant is visible on a stem in the upper right. The background is rendered with a shallow depth of field, presenting a blurred arrangement of green foliage and a lighter sky, confirming an outdoor, natural environment. No human or animal subjects are present in the frame.
