This is a photograph of a waterfall cascading down a rocky mountainside in the vicinity of Terskol, Russia. The waterfall is wide and appears to fan out at the top, with numerous thin streams of water flowing down over a dark, textured rock face. Below the main waterfall, a whitewater stream rushes over a rocky streambed, narrowing as it descends further. The surrounding landscape is rugged and mountainous, with steep slopes covered in patches of dry grass and scattered rocks. There are also large rock formations and cliffs visible on either side of the waterfall. The sky is overcast, suggesting a cloudy day. No people are visible in the image. The path leading up to the waterfall is also visible with yellow signs on it.
