The church has a white arched entryway decorated with a mosaic of what appear to be seeds and small stones, above which is a smaller white arched niche. A set of stone steps leads up to the entrance. To the left of the entrance, a large tree with dense green foliage extends into the frame, and beyond that, more trees and a hazy mountainous landscape are visible. The ground in front of the church is paved with irregular, flat stones, with decorative lines of smaller pebbles running through it. The sky above is partly cloudy with a few white clouds against a pale blue background. The overall impression is that of a warm, possibly sunny day.
