A Russian flag flies from a pole near the spire. Below the spire, a large golden emblem featuring a hammer and sickle within a wreath of wheat stalks and rays of sunlight is prominent. Flanking this emblem are two bronze statues of figures. One statue on the left depicts a figure with an outstretched arm, holding a laurel wreath. The statue on the right shows a figure with a raised arm, also holding a laurel wreath. A band of golden ornamentation, resembling draped fabric or scrolls, runs along the top of the building's facade. Beneath this, golden Cyrillic lettering spells out "СОЮЗ СОВЕТСКИХ СОЦИАЛИСТИЧЕСКИХ РЕСПУБЛИК" (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). Circular golden medallions, also bearing Soviet-era imagery, are embedded in the white facade above rows of fluted, golden columns. This structure is part of the architectural ensemble at VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy) in Moscow, Russia. VDNKh is a vast exhibition center and park that was established in 1939 and showcases Soviet and Russian achievements in various fields. The specific building pictured is the main pavilion, previously known as the Palace of Industry and later as the Pavilion of the Republics.
