n arched stone gateway leading into a narrow cobblestone alleyway in Schieder-Schwalenberg, Germany
Momentn arched stone gateway leading into a narrow cobblestone alleyway in Schieder-Schwalenberg, Germany. The gateway is constructed from rough-hewn, large stones. Integrated into the keystone of the arch is a decorative stone plaque featuring a bird silhouetted against a sunburst, and a shovel. Above this imagery are carved numbers that appear to be "123". The buildings on either side of the alleyway are characteristic of half-timbered architecture, with dark timbers against a white background. The cobblestone alleyway is lined with a concrete channel on the left side and a stone wall on the right, and is sparsely populated with small green plants growing between the stones. The sky above is overcast.
