This is a medium-shot, eye-level, natural light photograph of a tram track intersection in Paris, France, at what appears to be dawn or dusk. The scene is dominated by the tram tracks running diagonally from the bottom left of the frame towards the upper right. The tracks are set in a paved area with large, rectangular grey stone tiles. In the foreground, on the right side of the frame, a tall traffic signal pole stands prominently. It has a vertical set of three signal lights at the top, which are all off. Below these, a smaller rectangular signal light is illuminated with a yellow/orange glow. A smaller, circular traffic sign with a red border and a horizontal white bar is visible on a pole to the left of the tram tracks. In the background, a modern city skyline is visible. Several tall buildings, some with glass facades, stand against a pale, cloudy sky. One particularly tall, slender skyscraper with a visible construction crane at its apex is a notable feature. Across the road, further in the distance, more buildings and trees can be seen. A black car is parked on the right side of the road, near a traffic sign with the number "50" inside a red circle. Overhead, electrical wires for the tram are strung across the sky. The overall impression is of an urban environment at a quiet time of day.
