Momentn equestrian statue of General John J. Pershing, a prominent American military leader, atop a large, stone pedestal. The statue depicts Pershing in uniform, mounted on a horse, with his right arm extended forward. The pedestal is light pink and has the inscription "GENERAL J. J. PERSHING" carved into one of its sides. In the foreground, a stone wall is visible, with carved inscriptions. One section of the wall reads "ERETS L'ARGONNE," and another section has a series of small crosses and the inscription "J.J. PERSHING 15 JUIN 1917." To the right, another section of the wall is inscribed with "LA MEUSE CANAL." The background is dominated by lush green trees, suggesting an outdoor setting. The sky above is partly cloudy.
